Welfare Statistics of Karawang Regency 2023

Data and information are needed in order to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that they can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions is needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and job opportunities is needed to find out how far the achievement of development results reaches all levels of society.The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is designed to produce socio-economic data on the population in the education, health, housing, crime, socio-cultural sectors, domestic travel activities, and people's perceptions of household welfare. Starting in 2015, Susenas data collection is carried out twice a year, namely in March and September. The 2023 Karawang Regency People's Welfare Statistics publication is the result of data collection through the March 2023 Susenas Kor questionnaire (VSEN2023.K List) which is carried out throughout Indonesia. This publication is presented in the form of a percentage of a population disaggregated by Regency / City. A number of data are also disaggregated by sex to meet the needs of gender gap analysis.
